WHAT TO EXPECT AT OTA

At OTA, we're dedicated to ensuring that every athlete begins their journey towards success with a thorough and comprehensive approach. Here’s the process we follow with every athlete.

Free Performance Evaluation

This is your opportunity to tour our facility, meet our coaching staff, and make sure we’re the right fit before committing. In this evaluation, the athlete will be taken through a trial class. During the evaluation, we’ll gather all the key information we need to best help the athlete. This is an hour long class! If you’re ready to move forward, this is where we create the perfect training plan for your athlete. You’ll choose how many days per week you want to train and select the package that works best for your needs. Then, we’ll also lock in your onboarding assessment.

Onboarding Assessment

We begin by establishing a baseline of the athlete's current abilities through comprehensive testing and evaluation. This will be a 1:1 session scheduled with a coach where we will test 10 yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, and more. We will then sit down and discuss injury history and goals, as well as pinpoint areas for improvement to enhance performance.

Execute

Time to get to work! We will schedule your first training session. If the athlete is new to training, we will recommend a few 1:1 Foundation sessions with a coach to get started before progressing to the group classes. This is a chance for us to introduce the athletes to movements they will be seeing in class so they are best prepared.

Measure

Progress is tracked and evaluated continuously. We utilize specific performance indicators relevant to the athlete's sport to gauge improvement and adjust the training regimen as needed.

Compete

Ultimately, our goal is to translate training success into competitive excellence. The gym serves as a platform to elevate athletic performance, ensuring that gains made during training directly translate to success on the field or court. We adjust our training based on the athletes season to promote long term athlete development and injury prevention to make sure they stay on track.

OUR SERVICES

All of our training programs are built to increase mobility, speed, agility, power, and strength. Our 60 minute classes serve athletes of ALL sports as we believe in building a well-rounded, explosive athlete.

Youth Athlete Performance (Ages 8-11)

Our youth performance classes are designed to establish the foundational elements of athletic training. We will introduce athletes to the mechanics of speed and agility to improve coordination, alongside an introduction to resistance training utilizing resistance bands and light weights. Here, we are focused on building the foundation for injury prevention and long term athlete development.

Advanced Athlete Performance (Ages 12-15)

This program is structured for middle school and high school athletes who may be newer to formal training. This class maintains a structure similar to the Elite level but is conducted at a slightly reduced pace, providing our coaches with the opportunity to focus on refining technique and form before the athletes progress to the Elite class. The goal here is to build strength and speed that will begin to translate to on field performance.

Elite Athlete Performance (Ages 16+)

Our Elite Performance classes are tailored for collegiate and upper-level high school athletes with prior experience in performance training, who are preparing for competition at the next level. This class features a faster pace and increased intensity. If an athlete under the age of 16 demonstrates readiness for this level, our coaching staff may grant advancement.

Pro Performance / Combine Prep

Our invite-only class for professional athletes. If you are a professional athlete looking to train with us in your off-season or an athlete looking to prep for an upcoming combine, please contact us for more information.

1:1 Personal Training

While we advocate for the benefits of group training and a competitive environment, we recognize that there are specific circumstances where one-on-one instruction is more appropriate. Our certified coaches offer 60-minute personal training sessions customized to address the athlete's specific requirements. Availability is limited.

Team Training

For coaches seeking a dedicated, private training environment for their athletes, we offer private team training sessions at our facility. We can also dispatch a coach to your practice facility or school to conduct the session on-site.
